Virginia M. Steffey

Virginia M. Steffey, 84, of Church Hill, TN went to be with the Lord Monday, April 26, 2021, at Church Hill Health Care. She was born January 26, 1937, in Jenkins, KY to the late John and Effie Mullins.Virginia was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister who made family her main priority.She was a committed Christian and member of New Fellowship Ministries where she was the bookkeeper.Virginia was also a member of “Women of Joy” and enjoyed attending activities at the Church Hill Senior Citizens Center.She enjoyed reading, gardening and working Sudoku puzzles.Virginia retired as a bank teller with Tri City Bank following fifteen years of service.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Effie Mullins; husband, Bob Steffey; five siblings.Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tina Dexter (Michael) and Cristi Bell-Huff (John); eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, April 30, 2021, at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Pastor Keith Snodgrass officiating.
