W. Crandell Craft, 80, of Kingsport, passed away Sunday, February, 16, 2020, at UT Medical Center, Knoxville, TN.He was born in Cromona, KY and lived in Kingsport most of his Life.Mr. Craft served in the U. S. Army. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company after 35 years of service.Mr. Craft was a member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church. He was a Boy Scout Leader for handicap boys and girls for over 20 years.He was an avid UT Vols fan, enjoyed playing golf and loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters and friends.Mr. Craft was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Ruby Beverly Craft and four brothers, Cecil Craft, Hershel Craft, Wendell Craft and Lowell Craft.Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jolene “Jody” Craft; daughter, Elizabeth Craft and husband, Derek Herr; son Barry Craft; grandchildren, Blair Emerson Herr and Lily Colette Herr; brother, Ernest Edsel Craft and wife, Barbara; several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 22, 2020, at First Broad Street United Methodist Church with Dr. Randy Frye and Rev. Jack Weikel officiating.The family will receive friends in the church parlor following the service.A Private Family Graveside will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Broad Street United Methodist Church, 100 E. Church Circle, Kingsport, TN 37660.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Crandell’s nephew, Dr. Robert Mitchell Craft for his compassion and care.The care of W.
