Wendy Gail Dunlop, 52, of Mount Carmel, TN went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 14, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 5, 1967, in Lynchburg, VA to the late David McGann and Juanita Hagood.Wendy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a committed Christian and member of Higher Ground Baptist Church, Kingsport.Wendy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and working in her garden and flowers. Her greatest joy in life came by spending quality time loving and caring for her family.Prior to retirement she had worked as an E.M.T. with the Duffield, VA Fire Department and a P.C.T in the Emergency Room at Holston Valley Medical Center.Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of thirty years, Lenwood Dunlop; children, Lisa Marie Stout (Michael), Ashley Brooke France (Tanner), Lennie Gail Mitcham (Wes), Virginia Blair Dingus (Joe), Alexis Paige Poore (Kodee), Elijah Aaron Dunlop, Augusta Faith Dunlop, David Allen Dunlop and Jamison Dawn Bledsoe; twelve grandchildren; eight siblings; numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Friday, September 20, 2019, from 5:00-6:45 pm in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 pm with Dr. Phil Hoskins officiating.A Graveside Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, September 23, 2019, at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN.
