William "Mike" Fraley

William “Mike” Fraley, 65, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 30, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born on September 9, 1952 in Kingsport, TN to the late Kenneth and Vesta Noblit Fraley. William was a proud veteran of the United States Army, a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He spent his life in service having devoted 28 years to NA recovery program assisting others on their path to recovery. Those left to cherish Mike’s memory are his loving wife of 25 years, Vanessa Hartsock; daughters, Olivia (Phil) Leonard, Jennifer and Kristen Fraley both residing in California; granddaughter, Kyra Nicole Leonard; brothers, Jon (Susie) Fraley and Charles (Pat) Fraley; two nieces, one nephew, several cousins, “adopted” son, Steve Martin, and a host of friends also survive. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 4, 2018 in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Billy Rines officiating. Military Honors will follow in the Chapel and will be conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3 and Gate City Post #265. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vanessa Hartsock and she will make a contribution in Mike’s honor to the local NA 12 step program. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Marcus Williams and the staff of ICU 2 at Bristol Regional Medical Center for the care and compassion shown during this difficult time.
