I was so sorry to hear the news of William's passing. Until today I had no idea he was gone. William "aka Computer Bill" was a wonderful person. I got to know William over a period of twenty five years as he was my computer go to person. He was always willing to help on short notice and always had a pleasant attitude. His sense of humor was well developed. He saw my home and family go through many changes over the years. The last few times he came to fix a technical problem he shared that he had been having some health issues. It had been a while since I had seen him and he was a tad bit slower but his mind was as sharp as ever. The world lost a decent and kind man when he surrendered his earthly body and heaven gained one of their own. Heart felt condolences are sent to the family; prayers send for comfort and peace especially to his wife, Carolyn.

William was my brother-in-law and a very good one, a very good uncle to mine and my husband's two sons. He was kind, helpful and considerate. We learned from his brother, Doug, that he was very much a decorated soldier. He surely served his country well. We will miss him.

We were just his local FedEx in Johnson City, but he was way more than just a customer. He was our friend, smiling through whatever life threw at him. That smile-got us through the toughest days, and we were always happy to see him. He was a great man, and will be very missed by all of us here. God bless your soul, William. May you rest in peace.

Bill was a rarity. He was a true friend that was there anytime you needed him. He would drop by just to share his excitement when he acquired a new item for his collection, or just to talk about our mutual likes and dislikes, or life in general. His passing leaves a void in our hearts. He will be sorely missed.
