Our History

Oak Hill, Funerals and Cremations

Oak Hill, Funeral and Cremations was established in 1979 to provide Kingsport families with the convenience of planning all funeral and cemetery arrangements in one location. The funeral home is magnificently located atop a hill within the cemetery and overlooks the city. Whether you want a small gathering or an elaborate celebration of life, we will help you create the right tribute to honor the memory of your loved one.

This 10,500-square-foot beautiful funeral home features pleasant décor, two arrangement rooms, two visitation rooms and a comfortable lounge where coffee is available for visitors. Our lovely chapel has seating for up to 250 guests.

Oak Hill Memorial Park

Covering 115 acres, Oak Hill Memorial Park was established in 1902 and has become known as one of Tennessee’s most beautiful cemeteries. Oak Hill offers a variety of burial options such as private estate mausoleums, traditional ground burial, lawn crypts and cremation niches. Also, four impressive community mausoleums are available with both indoor and outdoor entombment options, as well as two sections for lawn crypts. We also have veterans spaces to honor those who have served our country.
