Helen Head

Helen W. Head, 90, of Kingsport, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.Helen was born in Orlando, Florida on December 21, 1927, to the late George and Terilla Roach Ware. She enjoyed gardening, cats, and traveling. She loved her late husband dearly and family was always first. Helen received great joy taking care of other’s needs.She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, William I. Head; grandson, Landon Head; brothers, George Ware and Eddie Ware.Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Connie Toohey (Mark); sons, Bill Head and Alan Head; grandchildren, Allison Toohey, Jenna Toohey, Adrianna Head, Bryan Head and Elise Head; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Meditation. Dr. Phil Hoskins will officiate. Those attending are asked to meet at the graveside at 1:45 pm.The special thank you is extended to the staff of Brookdale Rock Springs for the sincere compassion and care provided to Helen during her time at Brookdale, Kingsport.The care of Helen W.
