Jerry “Tate” Robinson, 50 of Kingsport, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 6, 2019.Jerry was a loving, devoted husband and father. He took great pride in his family and work. Being the perfectionist he was, he could do anything he set his mind to. As a team manager at Eastman, he cared for all those around him and tried to treat all with respect.Preceding Jerry in death are his parents, Jerry and Gaynelle Robinson, Sr.; grandparents, Kyle and Effie Robinsons and Curtis and Maggie Pearcy; mother and father in law, Wayne and Patsy Dean; special friend and family, Brandon Cinnamon.Left to cherish Jerry’s memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Kelly Robinson; daughter, Renee Robinson; sister, Andrea Lane; aunt, Marylou Cinnamon (Johnny) and family; brother in law, Tom Dean.The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday, December 9, 2019, in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services. A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will begin at 7:00 pm with Tim Hodges officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tate’s honor to St. Jude’s by visiting www.stjude.orgThe care of Jerry “Tate” Robinson and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.
