Mary Brixey Tittsworth

Matthew 11: 28, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”Mary Brixey Tittsworth, 56, of Gray, TN passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born August 4, 1963, in Kingsport.Mary was a loving and strong lady who was a “fighter” until the end. She loved children and was known as every ones “Mama.” Her favorite past-times were taking family trips to the beach and fishing.Mary was an avid Dobyns-Bennet High School sports fan. She graduated from D-B in 1981 and earned her B.S. Degree in Business Administration from E.T.S.U. in 1994.Mary was the Office Manager for New Care Home Nursing for several years and later retired from Allstate Insurance Company as an insurance agent.She was preceded in death by her father, Coach Tom Brixey; brother, Ed Brixey; maternal and paternal grandparents.Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mark Tittsworth; children, Casey Cowden and Tristan Tittsworth; mother, Pat Brixey; sister, Marlene Braddock and husband, Jim; brother, Roger Brixey; several nieces and nephews also survive.The family extends their sincere gratitude to Mary’s medical caregivers for their compassionate care over the last few years.A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date.The care of Mary Brixey Tittsworth and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
