I remember the very first time I met Mary. She and Marlene were walking through the neighborhood, and in the neighborhood park in Bayes cove and we practically bumped into each other on a trail. We hit it off as friends and Mary and I became best friends for years and years. Our lives carried us in different directions. I moved away and time and distance took us apart, but she was always in my thoughts and the kindness of her family and how they accepted me into there lives as a child. Her home was my home away from home. As we aged, we would accidentally bump into one another and I remember one year around Christmas we saw each other at Walmart and the first thing Mary said to me was that's the best Christmas present ever to see me. That made my heart smile. We had the best childhood and I'll never forget it. I'm just so sorry I didn't reach out to her in our later years. Hugs and love to the Brixey family and Mark and kids. Mary Olivia Pebbles Brixey will always be in my heart. Mary added the Pebbles.
