Reba M. Beckner, 90, of Kingsport, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Reba was born in Coeburn, Virginia on August 11, 1929, to the late Ras and Cynthia Harvey.She was a member of First Apostolic Christian Church, and she was known as “Mamaw” to everyone. Reba loved to crochet, cook and play board games. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Beckner; daughter, Linda Sue Collins; grandson, Travis Beckner; and seven siblings.Those left to cherish Reba’s memory are her daughters, Betty Larkins, Mary Ratliff (Sam), and Beulah Books; son, Larry D. Beckner (Debbie); 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.The family will receive friends 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tommy Benton officiating.A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Everlasting Life. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Reba’s memory to First Apostolic Christian Church, 201 E.
